Job Description
North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a passionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver individualized pediatric care. Join our therapist-owned facility where clinicians receive personal mentoring and career support to help patients reach their highest potential.
What You'll Do
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in home or facility settings for patients ages 0-21
- Assess speech, language, voice, swallowing, feeding, and fluency impairments using appropriate testing instruments
- Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports for patients
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient goals and interventions
- Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training programs and resource materials
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from accredited college or university
- Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship year and CCC-SLP certification
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license to practice in Texas
- Required experience in pediatrics; home health experience preferred
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English

For housekeeping roles, the day follows a room-by-room schedule β cleaning resident rooms, sanitizing common areas, managing laundry, and responding to spill or accident cleanups as they happen. Infection control protocols are more rigorous than in hotels or commercial cleaning, especially during flu season or respiratory illness outbreaks.
Maintenance staff handle a daily work order queue β everything from changing light bulbs and fixing call buttons to HVAC maintenance and plumbing repairs. Life-safety equipment checks (fire extinguishers, exit lighting, generator testing) happen on set schedules. Activities professionals plan and lead group programming β exercise classes, crafts, music sessions, outings β and also provide one-on-one engagement for residents who cannot participate in group settings. Social workers manage care conferences, discharge planning, family mediation, and community resource referrals. Across all these roles, the common thread is that you become a familiar, trusted presence in residents' daily lives.
