Join our clinical team as a Contingent Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float at MinuteClinic. In this full-time position, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

What You'll Do

  • Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications to patients
  • Evaluate complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses
  • Perform vital sign monitoring and routine health assessments to ensure patient wellbeing
  • Conduct medication reviews and mental health assessments, screening for depression and mood changes
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records using electronic health record systems

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license with no disciplinary actions; compact licenses must be from primary state of residence
  • Current BLS certification with expiration date at least 30 days past start date
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
  • Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
  • Minimum one year related healthcare work experience; proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic

Depending on the facility, you may also handle admissions paperwork, manage wound care, supervise medication techs, and respond to emergencies. The documentation load in senior living is significant — state surveys and compliance requirements mean thorough charting is non-negotiable. Many nurses in this setting say the most rewarding part is knowing their residents personally and being able to notice subtle changes that a rotating hospital nurse might miss.
