Director of Infection Prevention β€” This position is incentive eligible at Medical City Plano, a 600-bed acute care hospital. You'll lead the organization's infection prevention program while supporting nursing staff and departmental initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate, implement and oversee the organization's infection prevention program
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures supporting quality and patient safety outcomes
  • Provide surveillance of infectious diseases and prevent transmission per CDC guidelines
  • Identify improvement opportunities and execute regulatory compliance programs
  • Support departments through promotion of infection prevention initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field required
  • CIC certification required within 1 year of service
  • 5 years of hospital experience in infection prevention and healthcare
