Embark Care - InHome Caregiver Job Summary: Embark Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced InHome Caregivers to join our team in Rockwall, TX. This case has AM and PM shifts available 6 days/week requiring more than one hire. As an InHome Caregiver, you will provide personalized non-medical care in the comfort of clients' own homes, assisting with activities of daily living, transportation services, and light housekeeping. Our mission, "Personalized Non-Medical In-Home Care" , guides our approach to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients. Responsibilities: Provide non-medical care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to clients in their homes Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care tasks Offer companionship and emotional support to clients Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed Requirements: 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a related field High School diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and auto insurance (for cases requiring transportation) Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends Reliable transportation and a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers and other physical tasks What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: $14 - $16 per hour Direct Deposit pay semi-monthly Opportunity for immediate hire If you are a caring and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding career in InHome Care, we encourage you to apply. What to Expect in This Role Day-to-Day

Based on typical senior living facilities in the DFW area.

Your day typically begins with morning routines — helping residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and getting to breakfast. Throughout the shift, you will assist with meals, escort residents to activities, monitor for changes in behavior or health, and document everything in the care log. Vital signs checks happen at regular intervals, and you will be the first person to notice if something seems off with a resident.

The team dynamic is close-knit. You will work alongside other aides, report to the charge nurse, and communicate with families who visit. In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active. The work is physically and emotionally demanding, but many aides describe deep bonds with the residents they care for and a sense of purpose that keeps them in the field long-term.
