Caregiver/CNA Benefits: Earn $180-$200 per day! Live In Caregiver/CNA Duties include: Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's or patient's needs Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing Live In Caregiver / CNA Requirements include: Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required High school diploma or GED Certified CPR (AHA and ARC only) Physical and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Your day typically begins with morning routines — helping residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and getting to breakfast. Throughout the shift, you will assist with meals, escort residents to activities, monitor for changes in behavior or health, and document everything in the care log. Vital signs checks happen at regular intervals, and you will be the first person to notice if something seems off with a resident.

The team dynamic is close-knit. You will work alongside other aides, report to the charge nurse, and communicate with families who visit. In memory care units, redirection and engagement activities are a big part of the role — keeping residents calm, oriented, and socially active. The work is physically and emotionally demanding, but many aides describe deep bonds with the residents they care for and a sense of purpose that keeps them in the field long-term.
