Quick Facts Location: Arlington, TX (800 West Randol Mill Road, ZIP 76012) Start Date: 11/09/2026 End Date: 02/08/2027 Shift: 24-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 07:00 AM) Hours/week: Varies based on schedule (4-6 shifts/month) Employment Type: Locum/Contract Licensure/Certifications: MD or DO, Board Certified in OB/GYN, Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain Experience: Recent delivery and surgical experience required, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, EM obstetric procedures Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $4,297.80/week Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with state law Travel expenses covered (airfare, lodging, rental car) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections Serve as primary safety monitor for labor and delivery units Provide consults for pregnancy and gynecologic concerns Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives Follow evidence-based protocols and safety standards What You Need MD or DO degree, Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program with robotics training Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain Recent experience in deliveries and surgical procedures Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment This assignment takes place at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, a 369-bed acute care and surgical facility serving the Arlington community for over 60 years. The facility handles approximately 1,300-1,500 births annually, featuring a Level III NICU, private maternity suites, and dedicated high-risk pregnancy areas.
