Job Description
Medical City Dallas seeks a Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse Level IV for full-time night shift (7P-7A). Join our 108-bed NICU team and provide clinical expertise with compassionate, high-quality care to our patients.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes
- Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice
- Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
Requirements
- ADN or BSN required with 12-month enrollment and 24-month completion
- Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
- One year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in acute care hospital
- STABLE certification within 18 months of employment start date
- Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months; BCLS within 30 days of start

Depending on the facility, you may also handle admissions paperwork, manage wound care, supervise medication techs, and respond to emergencies. The documentation load in senior living is significant — state surveys and compliance requirements mean thorough charting is non-negotiable. Many nurses in this setting say the most rewarding part is knowing their residents personally and being able to notice subtle changes that a rotating hospital nurse might miss.
