Job Description

KidsCare Home Health, a therapist-operated home health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy services in home settings. What You'll Do
  • Evaluate, organize, and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy for pediatric patients
  • Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family training
  • Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines
  • Maintain communication with patients and families regarding progress, goals, and home programming
  • Consult with physicians on patient progress and maintain appropriate records
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current state-issued professional license and valid driver license
  • CPR certified; pediatric and home health experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and proficient computer skills
  • Ability to lift minimum 25 pounds and work in diverse residential settings

Maintenance staff handle a daily work order queue β€” everything from changing light bulbs and fixing call buttons to HVAC maintenance and plumbing repairs. Life-safety equipment checks (fire extinguishers, exit lighting, generator testing) happen on set schedules. Activities professionals plan and lead group programming β€” exercise classes, crafts, music sessions, outings β€” and also provide one-on-one engagement for residents who cannot participate in group settings. Social workers manage care conferences, discharge planning, family mediation, and community resource referrals.
