Job Description
Medical City Plano seeks a Nurse Manager of Progressive Care to lead a patient care unit with 24/7 accountability. This role offers the opportunity to build a healthier tomorrow while managing nursing staff and driving continuous quality improvement.
What You'll Do- Provide 24/7 accountability for a defined patient care area using evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement care delivery plans with patient safety as the primary goal
- Select, manage, and develop unit-based nursing staff through autonomous practice
- Review budgets and maintain operating expenses at target levels
- Lead performance improvement activities and participate in hospital committees and projects
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
- Texas State RN license or compact license; BLS/ACLS certification required
- National Specialty Certification or commitment to achieve within 1 year
- Minimum 2 years of nursing management experience
