Job Description

Lead a portfolio of senior living communities across the DFW market � including Independent Living � as the Regional Director of Operations for Pegasus Senior Living. You�ll partner with Executive Directors to drive quality care, occupancy growth, and strong financial results while championing a culture that puts residents first. You can be based anywhere within driving distance of the Houston metro. Most of your time (roughly 4 days per week) will be spent on-site across your communities. What You�ll Do Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of Independent Living communities in the DFW area Manage and develop a team of Executive Directors � holding them accountable for community-specific goals while investing in their long-term growth Drive occupancy, revenue, and NOI performance; lead monthly financial reviews and strategic planning with executive leadership Be a visible, on-the-ground presence: assess care quality, resident satisfaction, and team engagement across your communities Identify competitive risks and opportunities; build action plans that keep each community ahead of the market Ensure licensure compliance and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners Step in as interim Executive Director as needed to maintain continuity of leadership Champion a resident-focused culture that aligns with Pegasus�s mission and values What We�re Looking For 5 years as an Executive Director in senior living (required) 2�5 years in a regional management role in senior living, nursing, or a related healthcare field (preferred) Experience overseeing Independent Living communities is a strong plus Assisted Living, Memory Care, and/or Skilled Nursing Administrator�s License preferred; ability to obtain required state licensure required Bachelor�s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong financial acumen � you can read a P&L, manage budgets, and develop strategic operating plans Proven track record of improving safety, care quality, resident satisfaction, and team engagement across multiple communities Exceptional communication and leadership skills; comfortable operating at all levels of the organization Valid driver�s license, current auto insurance, and ability to travel extensively throughout the Houston market Why Pegasus Senior Living?
