Job Description
Join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a leadership role focused on resident care and nursing excellence. This position plays a vital part in ensuring quality care, staff support, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Support floor staffing needs and step in to assist when required
- Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, and infection control programs
- Hire, train, evaluate, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget
- Review and maintain accurate, up-to-date resident records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and teams to design individualized care plans
Requirements
- Licensed nurse in good standing with State Board of Nursing
- Strong technical skills with proven leadership and management experience
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
- Strong assessment and communication skills with restorative care philosophy
