Job Description

Join Medical City McKinney as Director of Social Services and lead our social services department. As part of HCA Healthcare, you'll impact our community while managing a dedicated team committed to patient care and support.

What You'll Do

  • Assess, evaluate and determine treatment services for patient populations
  • Oversee utilization review functions and supervise Program Specialists and Treatment Managers
  • Develop policies and procedures while monitoring quality of social service interventions
  • Serve as liaison between physicians, Allied Health Professionals, and hospital leadership
  • Support CEO, CNO, COO and CFO on hospital operations and strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work required
  • Current Texas State License in Social Work (LCSW) required
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification required
  • Inpatient experience working with all patient populations preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
