White Settlement Nursing Center - Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Join our team at White Settlement Nursing Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. Job Summary: As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent care for our residents while achieving the facility's business objectives. Your responsibilities will include staffing, financial management, supervising resident care, marketing, and community outreach. You will work closely with our management team to plan and implement facility operations, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and build positive relationships with government regulators, families, and the community. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Facility Management: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including setting priorities and job assignments, monitoring department activities, communicating policies, evaluating performance, and providing feedback. Manage Compliance: Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all Facility Quality Assurance standards. Resident Rights: Ensure understanding of and compliance with all rules regarding Residents' rights. Facility Staffing and Retention: Monitor Human Resources practices, manage turnover, and ensure current and future staffing through development of recruiting sources and selection, orientation, training, and staff education. Business Management: Manage facility budgets and business practices, monitor business activities, and ensure sound, credible business practices are followed. Marketing and Revenue Management: Develop and implement a marketing strategy, lead and monitor key staff and facility staff to carry out the marketing plan. Community Relations Management: Develop positive relationships with government regulators, families, and the community. Other Job Functions: Participate in meetings and committees, supervise and conduct department and facility education activities, staff meetings, and other duties as assigned. Physical and Sensory Requirements: Ability to walk, reach, climb, bend, lift, grasp, and push/pull Ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures Ability to communicate with residents and employees Ability to understand and follow training and instructions Ability to remain calm under stress Qualifications: Must be a Licensed Administrator in good standing and currently licensed by the state Prefer at least 2 to 4 years of previous experience as an Administrator in a long-term care setting Completion of Bachelor's Degree or appropriate education to meet state licensure requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to convey, explain, or interpret complex specialized information related to long-term care rules and regulations Ability to build and maintain relationships, coordinate plans, distribute information, and develop a mutual knowledge base At Will Statement: This job description provides guidelines only and none of its provisions are contractual in nature.
