Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a PRN position in Corinth, TX. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision while implementing care plans and collaborating with the healthcare team.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act guidelines
- Implement and document care plans initiated by the registered nurse
- Assess patients and provide education to patients and families about diagnoses
- Coordinate home health services and report needs for other disciplines to RN/Manager
- Prepare clinical notes and communicate patient care concerns to management
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited practical or vocational nursing program
- Current LPN/LVN license in the state; three years nursing experience required
- One year prior professional experience in community/home health or medical/surgical
- Valid driver's license with insured vehicle in good working order
- Current CPR certification; excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to walk, stand, lift, and transfer patients; visual and hearing acuity required

Depending on the facility, you may also handle admissions paperwork, manage wound care, supervise medication techs, and respond to emergencies.
