Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Arlington, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,478 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 8/11/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Arlington, Texas, 76015! Job Title: Travel RN Med Surg/Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS Post-Surgical Care 2 Years of Hospital Experience Description: This position is for a travel RN in the Medical-Surgical/Oncology specialty. The unit consists of 31 beds with a team of staff members. Day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 registered nurses, 2 certified nursing assistants, and 1-3 sitters. The patient ratios during night shift are approximately 1:5/6. The equipment used is standard for medical-surgical care and includes some traction devices. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Candidates with the following skills will be prioritized: ACLS Oncology Certification Chemotherapy Administration Experience with Meditech Typical procedures performed on this unit include general medical-surgical care and oncology treatments such as chemotherapy administration and neutropenia precautions. Post-operative care and hospice support are also provided. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, maintain a neat appearance, and adhere to the dress code. Hair should be neat and clean, and extreme styles or colors are not permitted. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be kept clean and neatly trimmed. Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back when working. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings beyond ear piercings are prohibited. The attendance policy of the organization will be followed.
